Diminutive Transit made in Vienna, Germany for the Geographic department of the military. According to the lables inside the case it was a gold medal winner in the 1900 Paris Technology Expo. It is complete in it's leather case with strap still intact. All parts move without problem and the level is intact on top. A quality made instrument. The transit stands 6 1/2 inches tall and 6 1/4 inches wide with the scope at it's smallest. The case measures 7 1/2 inches x 7 inches and is 3 1/4 inches deep.
