Rare and early large walnut box with lots of character and great patina. Original hinges and clasp. 2 small drawers lock form inside with sliding wood piece. One drawer has a chip to the locking mechanism. Candle box inside has carved lid. Dovetail construction. This box is possibly as old as the 1600's. Has some earlier restorations.
