Exceptional 5 piece sterling and stag handled carving set. Presented in it's original case which is stamped on the inside lid Shreve, Crump & Low, Boston. There are 2 knives, 2 carving forks and 1 skewer. One fork is stamped Pat. May 7th, 1878. The case shows wear commensurate with age. Beautiful matching detail on all 5 handles. The case measures 19 inches long, 8 inches wide and 2 inches tall. The longest knife is 16 inches and the shortest fork is 10 inches long.
